- Check Cellular Signal
- Ensure the device is in an area with adequate cellular coverage
- Relocate the device if necessary to improve signal strength
- Check the Status Summary on the dashboard for “Weak signal devices”
- Check GPS Location
- Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for proper GPS reception
- Note that GPS location updates only every 48 hours
- If recently relocated, allow up to 48 hours for location to update
- Battery Issues
- Check if the battery might be depleted
- If settings were changed to increase sampling frequency (e.g., 1-hour readings), battery life may be reduced
- Check Timer Settings
- Verify Keep Alive interval (12 or 24 hours)
- Understand that periodic readings are uploaded based on the Keep Alive schedule
